Want to support our journey?

To achieve our goal of raising $100,000 for breast cancer research and awareness, we travel to various locations throughout central and south western Ontario. We hold fundraising "tag days" at major stores, such as Walmart, Zehrs and the LCBO, where we offer pink ribbon and other awareness items, and sometimes prize draw entry, in exchange for donations.

All proceeds from our tag days have benefited leading cancer research centres throughout Canada and will continue to do so.

The money donated to the Toronto Weekend to End Women's Cancers is immediately used to fund research by the Campbell Family Institute at the Princess Margaret Hospital, one of the top 5 leading cancer research facilities in the world.

If you would like to support our journey in the fight against breast cancer and help fund important research, care and education for ALL women's cancers , please visit us at one of our "tag days". As well, you can order any of our a Tickled Pink Cookbook by emailing us or you can make an online donation to either Karen or Joseph.

How to Donate

I have almost reached my 2010 minimum for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. Due to a back injury earlier this year, however, Joseph has had to pull out of all but the Quebec Ride to Conquer Cancer, so he has now registered for the Toronto Walk instead. Please help him raise the $2000 minimum needed to participate.

To help us reach our fundraising goals, you can donate in one of the following ways:

  • in person at one of our tag days.

  • send a cheque made out to The Weekend to End Women's Cancers. Go to either Karen or Joseph's participant page to print off a donation form or email us for our address and we'll mail it in for you.

  • email transfer - please contact us for more information.

  • online by credit card. Go to either Karen or Joseph's participant page to donate online.

Please note, all donations of $10 or more (excluding those in exchange for pink ribbon stuff) are eligible for a taxation receipt. So, be sure to include your full name and address when making email transfers or mailing cheques, and include an email address so that the Weekend or the Ride can send the receipt (this reduces admin costs).
